Today's experiment.

There are times when I really should leave well enough alone. This was one of them. I have been working with my hosting setup and had frequently noted that there was a significant performance jump from my VPS to my Raspberry Pi 4. I really wanted to see if that was just my imagination, so I shifted my web server to reverse proxy for a web application on the Raspberry Pi temporarily.

Behold, things really did seem to perform better. This was altogether upsetting. Every month I pay ½ a Raspberry Pi 4 in hosting fees which, I will admit, is probably what a golden IPv4 address is worth these days.

Regardless of what I do in the future, I have a lot to think about.
